how to make thin crust pizza?
Put the dough in a lightly greased bowl, using a fork or your finger to rub it around a bit to soften it up.
Gently loosen it up with a fork or your finger, so it loosens up but doesn’t become too soft. Don’t apply too much pressure to the dough, otherwise it will break up.
Put the bowl over a skillet or a skillet grill. Don’t put a lid on it or it will stick. Add a good sized piece of butter to the skillet and then turn the heat up to medium high.
As soon as the butter melts and the crust begins to brown, go ahead and turn the heat down to low so that you can slide the pizza out. Leave it on for about 8 to 10 minutes for the bottom of the crust to start to get crispy. When it’s done, put it back in the skillet, on a plate, with a pizza cutter and leave it to cool down for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
A quick and delicious thin crust pizza, minus the crust!
Gently loosen the edges of your crust and then put it on a cookie sheet that is clean and cool to the touch. Place it in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or the entire time you make the pizza.

When you’re ready to make the pizza, put it back on the cookie sheet with a pizza cutter and slice it up. Put the slices on a baking sheet that has been preheated in the oven. Set the oven to a low temperature so the dough doesn’t get too soft or too warm to the touch when it’s finished baking.
When the cheese begins to melt and the crust begins to crisp up, when the pizza is ready, gently slide it out of the pan and place it on a cutting board with a pizza cutter. Slice the pizza on a very thin line so it’s thin enough, but also crisp and thin enough that it’s easy to pick up a slice. Slice it in two or three pieces and eat it with a fork so it doesn’t fall apart on you.
As delicious as thin crust pizza can be, this super-thin slice that’s wrapped in cheese with a thin layer of sauce is really a delight to everyone!
Cut the pizza dough into strips so that the strips are about one inch thick.
Mix the dry ingredients together until they are completely mixed and it’s not too lumpy.
Combine the cornmeal, flour, salt, pepper and baking powder into one bowl.
Wet the dry ingredients to form a thick mixture of wet to dry. Don’t over-mix it. Add a little water so it’s still soft but not too wet.
Mix the wet ingredients together in the other bowl. Don’t over-mix it so it’s still soft but it’s not too wet. If the dough is too dry, add a little more water or cornmeal.
How to cook thin crust pizza in the oven
Heat up the oven and set it to the highest setting. Light the oven and let it come up to temperature with the pizza dough. Once the oven is heated, put the pizza dough on the top rack.
Place the pizza in the oven for 4 to 5 minutes. When it begins to bake, go ahead and put on the top of the pizza. Put a small amount of cheese on it before putting it on the top rack.
Place the pizza in the oven for about 3 to 4 minutes. When it’s done, rotate the top rack so that the bottom is now on top of the pizza. Put a thin layer of sauce on the bottom of the pizza to cover the crust.
Place the pizza back in the oven and let it bake for another 2 to 3 minutes. Slide the pizza off the bottom rack onto the top of the pizza rack. Leave it in the oven for another 2 to 3 minutes to finish cooking completely. If it’s not cooked completely, remove it from the oven and place it on a clean pizza tray. Cover the pizza in another thin layer of sauce and return it to the oven for another 2 to 3 minutes.
Just before the pizza is finished, remove the cheese from the top and place it on top of the pizza. Slice and serve the pizza.
